195 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Nigeria as cases cross 3,000

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 195 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria on Wednesday the 6th of May, 2020, OYOGist.com is aware.

This new record brings Nigeria’s total confirmed COVID-19 cases to 3145. The new confirmed cases were recorded in Lagos with 82 cases, Kano (30), Zamfara (19), Sokoto (18), Borno (10), FCT (9), Oyo (8), Kebbi (5), Gombe (5), Ogun (4), Katsina (3), Kaduna (1), Adamawa (1).

There were 5 deaths, which brings the total number of COVID-19-related deaths to 103, and the discharged cases to 534.
