The troops of 3 battalion were also on their feet against the war of terrorism, relentlessly the troops carried an operation around their area of responsibility which is around the border of Cameroon and Chad to curtail the fleeing terrorist who had found the Chadian region hot to stay while trying to make a safe heaven in Nigerian region.
Report has it that troops of 3 battalion killed some of the terrorists while the remaining withdraw with bullet injuries abandoning some of their fighting equipment.
