Another unconfirmed report of a new COVID-19 related death has been reported in Jankata, Apata Ibadan after several eye-witness accounts told this media outlet that a man allegedly died of COVID-19 in the said community.

The said family allegedly came into the country from Canada on a private jet during the lockdown, thereby coming into the country during the insterstate travel ban.

If this report is true, then it means this is the second case of COVID-19-related death that is reported in Oyo State, following the first one that was reported from Lafia Hospital in Apata.

The alleged death was said to have occurred on the morning of Saturday 25th of April, 2020.
