Seyi Makinde Insists On Not Shutting Down State Economic Activities

The National Centre for Disease Control NCDC latest update has shown 2 New cases in Oyo state. Speaking the governor of Oyo state Seyi Makinde has said in a press briefing that one of the confirmed case is a returnee from the United states while the other is a local.

Speaking the governor said during the task force meeting held Friday that they were informed that two more test came positive. So, the state has four New cases from test being conducted at Adamasingba stadium. This brings the total of active cases in the state to seven.

While other states in the South West are aligning with the federal government stay at home order of Lagos,Ogun and FCT Abuja governor Makinde has stood his ground on not shutting down the state economic instead the state government has opted for the safety measures of wearing face mask and social distancing.

The governor said his government has gotten about 100 tailors to be trained by an expert on how to produce the face mask. He said that each to produce 10,000 each. The state government want the tailors to mass produce a million.
