The Governor of Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde, during his Tweetchat held on Saturday, 28th of March 2020, to discuss the efforts of Oyo State Government on the Covid-19 revealed that he is in self-isolation, OYOGist.com reports.
The Governor revealed that he and several other governors have come in contact with one of the persons that tested positive for coronavirus during the NEC meeting.
This has led Seyi Makinde and other governors in the country to go into self-isolation and observe the mandatory 14-days observation.
Makinde made the revelation when he was giving the reason for postponing his regular quarterly media chat.
