Special commendation was given to Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for his steadfast dedication to fairness and adherence to due process throughout the convention. The convention saw the participation of over 3,000 accredited delegates representing all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. Yomi Awoniyi as Deputy National Chairman (South), Senator Suleiman Adokwe as Deputy National Chairman (North), Hon. Onofiok Luke as National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Nnenna Ukeje as National Women Leader, Hon. Sani Jaji as National Youth Leader, and Chief Olusola Akanmode as National Treasurer. Wolekanle described this team as “competent, proven, and widely respected across the nation.”
