Oyogist.com has learned that the administration of the second batch of vaccines scheduled to begin Tuesday, August 10, has been postponed by the Presidential Steering Committee (PSC) on COVID-19.
Willie Bassey, PSC’s spokesperson who made this known said the vaccination exercise was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
Bassey didn’t to give a new date for the administration of the vaccines but said the new date will be communicated.
The statement read;
“This is to announce the postponement of the national flag-off exercise of phase 11 vaccination programme earlier scheduled for Tuesday this week due to unforeseen circumstances.
“A new date will be communicated.”
