US VP Mike Pence urged to impeach Trump over Capitol Hill clash

If VP Pence—a nationally elected constitutional officer—were a decent and serious person, he would make a statement telling people to leave the Capitol, and he would announce he intends to try to secure today from a majority of the Cabinet the invocation of the 25th amendment.

More urgently, VP Pence should assemble the cabinet and invoke the 25th Amendment before Trump can do any more damage. We cannot risk another day with him in office.
