OYOGist.com has learned that the President and Founder of the Salvation Ministries International, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has reportedly stated that the church has spent 36 billion naira so far on the Carcass of the 120,000 (one hundred and twenty thousand) seat cathedral which has been since christened “Hand Of God.”
The Clergyman while speaking today during the second service of the church on the message which he titled ” Activating your faith”, stated that the 120,000 seat capacity auditorium of the church which was located at Igwuruta axis of Port-Hacourt was already near Completion.
Pastor David Ibiyeomie also stated during the course of the sermon that 10 Billion naira would be needed for the completion of the church project and that no offerings would be collected for that purpose. He was quoted saying “They told me one of the 10 items for finishing the cathedral will cost N15 Billion but don’t fear. We are not calling for offering.” He also went ahead to state that through faith all these will be accomplished.
It will recalled that Salvation Ministries began building their 120,000 seat capacity auditorium over a year ago and upon it’s completion it will be reputed to be among the largest church auditoriums in the world.
