The Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos has started the trial of Dr Anuolauwapo Adepoju of MedContour Services Ltd., OYOGist.com reports.
A Journalist, Fisayo Soyombo, shares the information on his twitter page. He disclosed that Dr Anu was arrested Wednesday, July 1 and is now being tried at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi.
Dr Anu was arraigned for several complaints by unsatisfied clients who reported her to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).
According to reports, the cosmetic surgeon was reported because her her “services were unsafe for consumers(women)”. Also leveled against Dr Anu is that a failed cosmetic surgery done by her led to the death of one Mrs. Nneka Miriam Barbra Onwuzuligbo.
“…In particlar, the above-mentioned Vivian Onwuzuligbo, a member of the family of one Mrs. Nneka Miriam Barbra Onwuzuligbo (now deceased) alleged that the deceased died as a result of the failed defendant’s cosmetic surgery and she is privy to the events that led to the demise of the deceased,” the court documents read.
The infamous surgeon has been reported in the past for botched surgeries but she claims these allegations are very untrue.
