Andres Lujan Iniesta is widely regarded as one of the greatest maestros of the game. The center midfielder/playmaker was on the books of Barcelona for over 16 years and represented Spain on 131 occasions. With over 33 club titles, World Cup and two Euro Titles to his name, he has indeed, alongside Xavi and a host of others, marked himself in history as one of the greatest personnel, to ever play in the middle of the park. Iniesta is also the most decorated Spanish footballer in history.
Apart from the football, Andres Iniesta also has other aspects to his life. He is a Christian (catholic), family man, happily married to Anna Ortiz and they are blessed with three children.
However, he also has a business of his own, a Winery in Albacete, Spain. His company, known as “Bodega Iniesta Winery” produces about a million bottles a year with most of his income, coming surprisingly from abroad with the company exporting to over 39 countries. The company is also a family business.
When the midfielder, currently plying his services for Vissel Kobe, announced back in 2017 that he would be leaving Barcelona, he received a very weird offer from a China. Chinese Super League Club, Chongqing Dangdai offered to buy about six million bottles of wine from him if he signed for them. That would result in Iniesta earning about £36million, apart from the massive wages offered to him.
The Catalan would go on to bypass the offer, opting to sign for Vissel Kobe in Japan where he has made over 38 appearances and won two titles for them. Andres Iniesta is currently worth $120million and with this great business mindset of his, the sky is definitely his limit.
