The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has on Friday, the 24th of April, 2020 reported 114 new confirmed cases in the country, bringing the total number of cases to 1095, OYOGist.com has gathered.
Nigeria has officially crossed 1,000 confirmed Coronavirus cases on Friday, 24th of April, 2020. The report includes one death.
The 114 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in 9 states which are: Lagos with 80 new cases, 21 in Gombe, 5 in FCT, 2 in Zamfara, 2 in Edo, 1 in Ogun, 1 in Oyo, 1 in Kaduna and 1 in Sokoto.
The NCDC also reported that there are now 208 discharged cases. There was also a report of 1 COVID-19 related death, bringing the total COVID-19-related deaths in Nigeria to 32 as of 25th of April, 2020.
The NCDC also reported that there are now recorded confirmed cases of COVID-19 in 27 states of Nigeria, including the FCT.
