US Senator and 2020 Presidential Candidate, Senator Bernie Sanders, has on Wednesday, 8th of April, 2020 suspended his bid for the nomination ticket under the Democratic Party, thereby bringing his 2020 Presidential Ambition to an end, OYOGist.com has learned.
The US Senator made the announcement on his Twitter page during a Live Periscope session with his supporters and members of the press.
“Today I am suspending my campaign. But while the campaign ends, the struggle for justice continues on.”
“Let us go forward together, the struggle continues, thank you all very much,” Bernie remarked as he ended his 2020 ambition.
His Democratic Political rival, Joe Biden has gained several points to edge Bernie Sanders out of the 2020 Democratic Presidential Nomination Ticket, and with the coronavirus that has continued to affect the lives of Americans and prevented them from moving around, Bernie didn’t have much of a choice.
The US Presidential election is expected to hold by November, 2020.
