Youths Urges Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade To ‘Voluntarily Withdraw’ From 2023 Presidential Race, See Why

Oyogist has learned that several youths in cross River are currently demanding that the state governor, Ben Ayade ‘Voluntarily’ announce his exit from the 2023 Presidential race, Oyogist reports.

Recall the Governor had earlier declared his intention to contest for presidency in the forthcoming 2023 elections.

Speaking on his presidential bid, the governor said he was advised to join the race by President Buhari.

However, days after he announced his intention, several cross riverians are currently pleading with the Governor to withdraw from the race, as many reportedly described him as an “unworthy’ candidate.

A resident of the state, Archibong during an interview with Oyogist disclosed that the governor hasn’t fulfilled most of his promises which he made before attaining his seat.

“Thus, he doesn’t have any business with contesting for the forthcoming elections, He said further.

Residents of Calabar are currently experiencing a power outage which has lasted for over three weeks now.
