According to report reaching oyogist.com, Aisha Yesufu, a popular activist, has berated Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church over his latest comment on President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.

Yesufu described Bishop Oyedepo as pathetic for saying he warned Nigerians against voting for Buhari.

Bishop Oyedepo had, at Living Faith’s ongoing Shiloh, said the Buhari government remains the worst thing that ever happened to Nigeria.

Against this backdrop, Oyedepo said he is less bothered about the current state of the nation.

Oyedepo further said he stopped worrying over the insecurity and economic challenges facing the country.

However, the co-convener of BringBackOurGirls, BBOG, advocacy group, wondered why Oyedepo was silent during the abduction of Chibok schoolgirls under the past administration of Goodluck Jonathan.

Sharing Oyedepo’s remark on her verified Twitter page, Yesufu said both Oyedepo and the Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, are pathetic.

She tweeted: “Where was your voice when #ChibokGirls were abducted? They weren’t Christian enough because a Christian was President?

“Where was your voice when citizens were being killed? You even said we will go to hellfire if we do not vote GEJ. You and that MURIC man are the same! Pathetic!”

Aisha Yusuf needs help on this one. I am not a fan of Oyedepo nor Akintola of MURIC, but I think Akintola should never be coequated with Oyedepo in anything reasonable or serious. Oyedepo took a stand based on current realities which he is also a witness, and concluded that d current situation under Buhari is pathetic when compared with regime of Jonathan, and he resigned himself to fate when he Oyedepo saw that d current realities are irredeemable. Akintola, on the other hand, recognized all these maladies in Buhari but went as far as saying it is a war by Christians against Muslims bcus Buhari a Muslim is in power. But unlike AkintoLA, Oyedepo never attached his stand on Jonathan being better than Buhari, though both being bad, on his being a Christian.
So unfortunately Aisha labelled the two men as being co-pathetic, and this is wrong and as such has exposed Aisha as a religious bigot thoroughly hidden in hypocritical patriotism and national compatriotism to deceive many people in the two religions.
