Olusegun Olonade in his tribute to his wife who passed away a few days ago has described her as the anchor and the cornerstone of the family and also the greatest gift he has received in his life.

He further revealed how his wife has stood with him throughout their 25 years of marriage, how she stood by him even when he relaxed on his legal practices almost two decades ago for a more active ministerial service to the Lord.

He recounted how his wife’s sickness which they thought was just malaria but turned out to be Covid-19, that though she fought hard to live, she didn’t survive.

He further appreciated everyone that stood by him and his family throughout this period of their loss.

My beloved brethren in the GGI-GGN family, bosom friends of many years and most worthy family members. With the deepest grieve in my heart still holding on to the Lord in prayers and worship, in the fervent hope that heaven might grant her a fresh breath of life between the hospital and the burial ground, I released my wife to mother earth yesterday night. This is the bitterest moment of my life. All my children know their mother is the anchor, the strength, the cornerstone of our family, his tribute read in part.

My gem Grace Arike Oluwatoyin Olonade has gone Home to rest. We surely shall meet on the Resurrection Morning. The void you have left behind for me and your children only the Lord who has taken you to be with Him, can fill.

Adieu, my baby girl. Rest on. You have fought a good fight. You have finished your race. Now a crown of righteousness awaits you from the Lord whom you served so devotedly and whose you are.
