According to report reaching oyogist.com, Some gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have snatched the wife of a youth leader of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Salawu Areokuta in Oyo State.
Oyogist.com gathered that Mrs Arikeade Oni-Salawu was kidnapped on Sunday at the gate of her residence in Ibadan, at about 10pm.
Our correspondent gathered that Oni-Salawu, who was returning from work, alighted from her workplace ambulance to open the gate when armed men emerged and took her away.
The incident occurred at Aromolaran area, old Ife Road in Ibadan.
Our correspondent gathered that the whereabouts of the victim has not been ascertained as at the time of filing this report on Monday.
Publicity Secretary of APC, Dr. Abdulaziz Olatunde, confirmed the abduction to on Monday.
“Yes. It is true. The wife of the APC youth leader was kidnapped.
“She was kidnapped yesterday night. Yes. The husband told us.
“The family has not been contacted.”
