Seun Kuti disagrees on school reopening

Popular Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti has faulted the Federal government directive over the reopening of schools in the country, describing it as pure wickedness.

He made this known in an Instagram post he shared on his timeline, further stressing that the action of the government is cruel to the people, as some politicians who recommended the reopening of schools do not have their children attending the said schools.

He emphasized on the necessity of virtual classes in the country.

Kuti opined that the Nigerian ruling elites simply hate the struggling citizens.“The only reason these children and undergraduates are forced to resume is because no one is willing to invest in virtual classrooms for them. There is no immediate profit to be made.“This is wickedness. Pure and simple,” his post on Instagram read.
