IMN Urges ICC Not To Forget December 2015 Shiites Massacre

According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) has reportedly called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) not to forget the 2015 Zaria Massage committed by the Nigerian military against the Islamic Shiites group.

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) also stated that the International Criminal Court (ICC) should hold the Nigerian authorities for the various atrocities committed against the Shiites group.

According to the statement issued by the IMN, it states as thus; “We, therefore, call on the international community, especially the International Criminal Court at The Hague and the UN to expedite action to hold the Nigerian Government accountable for its crimes, and help uphold the inviolable human rights of the people of Nigeria.”

It should be noted that the Nigerian Authorities had earlier detained the National leader of the Shiites group, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and wife his Zeenat, since December, 2015.
