OYOGist.com has learned that social media enthusiast and civil rights activist, Mr. Reno Omokri has called on the super eagle team of Nigeria to take part and trigger what can bring about change in Nigeria as they embark on the international game with Algeria on Friday.
Mr. Omokri who took to his Twitter handle also reminded the Nigerian sportsmen of the similar sacrifices put in place by American sportsman Colin that went further to Kickstart a great movement in his country.
According to Omokri, “Dear Nigerian Super Eagles, Consider taking a knee in favour of #EndSARS today during your match with Algeria in Austria. Don’t forget that Colin @Kaepernick7 started taking a knee as an American football player, and today, his small act has changed America. You too can change Nigeria.”
