The Bill and Melinda Foundation is putting an effort to distribute a Covid-19 vaccine by the end of this year or even come 2021 as the reports from Global Vaccination Alliance Gavi indicates.

According to the foundation, they have made a deal with world’s largest vaccine makers to supply 100 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine to the poor countries.

This will be a move that is aiming at supplying the readily available jabs to countries across Africa and some other westerners that are under low and middle income levels.

The deal by Bill Gates and Melinda was assigned to Serum Institute of India to produce a vaccine that will be costing $3 or less per dose when the jab becomes ready. This translated to approximately Ksh 325 per dose of the vaccine in Kenya.
