According reports reaching OYOGist.com, the embattled Ondo state Governor, Alfred Agboola Ajayi has allegedly dragged the state House of Assembly before an Abuja court to stop his removal as plot to unseat him gathers momentum.
The speaker of the, Rt. Hon Oleyeloogun has earlier called an emergency sitting which was advertised in Saturday Tribune where members were encouraged to make themselves available.
But in a swift reaction, Agboola who literally got wind of the plot to remove him over his Defection to the Peoples Democratic party, PDP has decided to pull a fast one by suing the state House of Assembly before the process would commence.
The Deputy Governor, through his legal adviser, Barrister I. Olatoke filed a suit seeking to halt proceedings of the House and enforce his fundamental right of association at the Abuja Federal high court.
The suit listed the Inspector General of police, State commissioner of police, State Security Service(SSS) and the speaker of the Assembled Rt. Hon. David Oleyeloogun as Defendant’s.
