Nigeria head coach Gernot Rohr has repeated that he needs Bayern Munich wonderkid, Joshua Zirkzee, to play for the Super Eagles, yet conceded that it won’t be simple for the striker to change his global loyalty from Netherlands to Nigeria.

Conceived in Schiedam 19 years back, Zirkzee meets all requirements to speak to Nigeria through his mom, however is temporarily top attached to the Netherlands in the wake of playing seriously for the European mammoths at U17 level.

Rohr watched the previous Feyenoord youth-teamer around other people back in February when he scored on his full Bundesliga debut against Hoffenheim.

“There are a couple of others in the Bundesliga that apply: Kevin Akpoguma in Hoffenheim, Jordan Torunarigha at Hertha BSC and Felix Uduokhai in Augsburg. Yet, we can’t get them so without any problem.”

Zirkzee has showed up in nine Bundesliga matches this season, scoring four objectives, and appeared for the German victors in the DFB Pokal and UEFA Champions League.
