A Twitter user, named Pius Tolulope, has narrated how men of the Nigerian Police Force caused a car to get burnt after shooting a new Lexus car thinking the occupant was a “Yahoo boy”, OYOGist.com has gathered.
The user said the officers were chasing the car and shot his tire thinking he was a “Yahoo boy”.
He said the car got burnt but the driver didn’t get hurt.
“Few minutes ago.. the men of the Nigerian police were chasing a guy thinking he is a Yahoo boy, they shot his car tyre not far from my car…. A new car, Lexus.. there was no traces of the driver, 80% chances he got burnt…. I am in tears,” Pius wrote on Twitter.
