Three have died while more than five have been left injured in a stabbing spree that happened at Forbury Gardens in Reading, U.K, OYOGist.com reports.
A witness to the park stabbing in Reading told the Mirror Online he thought another group of people “were playing duck, duck, goose” as the attacker went from victim to victim.
It was only when they saw saw blood spurting as victims dropped to the ground that the witness realised the horror of what was happening.
The Police has since confirmed that the incident is treated as a terrorist attack as a Libyan man has been arrested.
A witness said he saw the man take a blow to a woman’s neck – but was not sure of the weapon the man used as he didn’t see it clearly.
“I think six to eight people were stabbed, with four people who dropped to the ground and were immobile.
“I saw a man with his face bleeding but stood up. When the first 2 people were stabbed the group stood up, and two of the people who dropped to the ground were stood up.”
Reading town centre was quiet on Sunday morning, with few people on the streets.
The roads surrounding Forbury Gardens – which is a short walk from the train station – remains protected following Saturday evening’s multiple stabbings.
