COVID-19: Nigeria records 490 new cases

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has on Tuesday, 16th of June recorded 490 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total confirmed cases to 17,148, OYOGist.com reports.

The new cases were recorded in the following locations: Lagos-142 FCT-60 Bayelsa-54 Rivers-39 Delta-37 Oyo-30 Kaduna-26 Imo-23 Enugu-19 Kwara-17 Gombe-11 Ondo-10 Bauchi-8 Ogun-7 Borno-6 Benue-1.

On Tuesday, there were 274 discharged COVID-19 patients and 31 deaths. This brings the total number of those discharged to 5623, while the total deaths now stand at 455.
