NCDC records 148 new COVID19 cases in Nigeria as cases draw close to 3,000

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 148 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria on Tuesday, 5th of May, bringing the number of confirmed cases to 2950, OYOGist.com reports.

According to the NCDC report, Lagos recorded the most new cases with 43 confirmed cases, followed by Kano with 32, Zamfara (14), FCT (10), Katsina (9), Taraba (7), Borno (6), Ogun (6), Oyo (5), Edo (3), Kaduna (3), Adamawa (2), Gombe (2), Plateau (1), Sokoto (1), Kebbi (1).

The total number of discharged cases as at 11:41 PM on Tuesday, 5th of May, 2020 is 481 and the total number of deaths is 98.
