FIFA Announces Resumption Date For leagues In Europe

OYOGist.com has learned that the football governing body FIFA has predicted a possible resumption date for leagues in Europe especially the premier league, laliga seria a, league 1 and bundesliga.

Gianni infantino stated that the leagues will resume by mid May and it would end in just four weeks after resumption and the resumption date for the UEFA champions league and Europa league matches is not yet confirmed but the UEFA matches is possible to be played by weekends when it resumes but the notion of playing in weekends was not accepted by the Serie A governing body.

The laliga president Javier tebas told marca “we should be able to resume by mid May if there is a cure to the Corona virus which has been affecting the football world for the past few weeks and they hope there would be a cure to the disease before the mid of may.

The English FA which stated that the league would be back by mid April have been shifted to mid May so as to go in line with the FIFA calendar.
