Head pastor and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua (T.B. Joshua), in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, prophesied that the global pandemic would vanish by March 27, 2020.

In a sermon to his congregation, Prophet T.B Joshua said “This month (March), 27th, it will be over (referring to the COVID-19). By the end of this month, no matter the medicine they produced to cure whatever, it will go the way it came, even if it is not medicine that brought this to the world, medicine cannot take it out, it will go the way it came.”

For the past two days, social media has been set ablaze with people questioning the man of God over his prophecy since the rate of infection keeps increasing.

Most Africans, especially Nigerians and Ghanaians, expected to wake to this morning with no new cases of COVID-19 globally and the sudden recovery of all infected people as prophesied by T.B Joshua who claims God reveals all major happenings around the world to him but couldn’t reveal to him that his church building would collapse.

The deadline given has passed and yet, there’s no sign of coronavirus vanishing. This has made a lot of people referred to the man of God as a liar.

In defense, Prophet T.B. Joshua has come out to tell the public that what he meant was spiritual, not physical.

According to him, men of today lack understanding and it clearly shows how people perceived his revelation. He said “I meant coronavirus would vanish spiritually the same way it came. As I speak, the virus is no more in the spirit realm.”

“I didn’t specify so why would people conclude I meant physically. Men of today lack understanding. Instead of taking time to understand the context in which something was said, they are always quick to judge,” he stated.

FAKE NEWS! As a committed follower of Emmanuel TV and The SCOAN, I can authoritatively tell you Prophet TB Joshua never said this. Where is your source? Yesterday, TBJ did not even appear in ETV’s live broadcast and his message was only shown late in the night. He never said the words you attributed to him about CV disappearing spiritually but not physically. Pls remove this article!!!
