Nigerians have gone on social media to express their anger towards the billionaire founder of Winners Chapel Church, David Oyedepo after he held a seevice at his mega auditorium to full capacity.

Recall that Ogun Stare government has placed a ban on all public gatherings, including schools, mosques and churches in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

On Sunday, 22nd March, 2020, pictures and videos emerged online showing the preacher, David Oyedepo preaching to a fully packed auditorium amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

Daily Post had earlier reported on how Oyedepo attacked the government for closing down schools and malls.

“may God help our policy makers to make the right decision in finding a solution to this scourge called Coronavirus,” the cleric said.

“How can you close schools and ask them to go home?

“You’re sending them for where them are more secured to where they would be exposed to the disease”

Recall that the school belonging to David Oyedepo, Covenant University, had initially insisted that students must resume even after the Federal Government announced a national-wide ban on all tertiary institutions in the country.
