Following dethronement, El Rufai appoints Sanusi into Kaduna’s KADIPA board

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi who was dethroned from the position of Emir of Kano and banished from the state by Governor Ganduje on the 9th of March 2020 has now been appointed into KADIPA board by Governor El Rufai of Kaduna State.

On Monday 9th of March, Governor Ganduje dethroned Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the Emir of Kano on charges of disrespect to the government of Kano State and insubordination.

Upon the dethronement of the monarch, Ganduje ordered him banished from Kano State and ordered his detention. Sanusi then headed to Nasarawa state where he was received.

Subsequently, the Governor of Kaduna State, El Rufai, announced the appointment of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as a member of the board of Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA).
