Buhari, Cabinet observe minute of silence for Borno boko haram attack victims in Ethiopia

President Buhari and has cabinet in Ethiopia have observed a minute of silence in honor of the victims of the gruesome bomb murder that took place in Auno, Burno on Sunday.

President Buhari is in Ethiopia on AU conference on security.

The one-minute silence was held on Tuesday, 11 February, two days after the killing and abduction of the victims.

Recall that 30 people were killed in Auno town, which is 25km away from Maiduguri in Borno while sleeping in their vehicles at night.

“President Muhammadu Buhari, his delegation and members of Nigerian community in Ethiopia observing a minute of silence in honour of Nigerians recently killed by Boko Haram in Borno State shortly before the commencement of his meeting with Nigerians living in Ethiopia,” Bashir Ahmed, Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media shared on social media.
