ANAMBRA ELECTION UPDATE: Voters Express Worry Over Accreditation Exercise in Several Polling Units

Voters in several polling units in ANAMBRA including, Amawbia, Isuofia and nnewi has expressed worry over the slow nature in Accreditation processes.

Eighteen political parties and candidates are currently in a governorship race to succeed obiano as voting is expected to take place across more than 5,000 polling units spread across the 21 local governments of the state.

Electorates stated that “Accreditation exercise using the new technology of the bimodal verification system seems cumbersome as it takes more than five minutes for a voter to get accredited.

The actual closing time for voting has been slated to 2:30 pm.
