Oyogist.com has learned that Abba Kyari has been cleared by Inspector General of Police (IGP) and expected to resume work as IGP lifts his suspension.
Recall that the Deputy Commissioner of Police and Head of unit of IRT was placed on suspension and relieved from all police duties over his involvement in by Raymond Abbas aka Hushpuppi internet fraud case.
Abba Kyari was also relieved of his duties as Head of the Police Intelligence Response Team(IRT) by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, and replaced by Tunji Disu.
Following the investigation, the Inspector General of Police has reportedly lifted his suspension.
