Oyogist.com has learned that GOVERNORS elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will have a brief meeting at Ibadan, the Oyo State capital today to review the party’s position on the state of the nation.
The meeting, will be presided over by PDP Governors Forum Chairman and Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, 15 governors elected on the platform of the main opposition party would be in attendance.
The DG of the PDP Governors Forum, C.I.D Maduabum, said the meeting will also discuss issues of national security and the fast shrinking economy.
It
would also give the governors an opportunity to fine-tune strategies to support the PDP as a viable and necessary alternative to All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
