Oyogist.com has learnt that renowned Islamic cleric and scholar, Ahmad Gumi, has advised the Nigerian Government to issue ‘blanket amnesty” to repentant bandits. In the country.
The commique came after a brief meeting between Sheikh Ahmad Gumi and the kidnappers of Government Science Secondary School in Kagara student’s at Tagina forest in Niger State on Thursday, February 18.
He said after the meeting;“The Federal government should give them blanket amnesty, then if somebody continues, then we will deal with them,”
Sheik Gumi further assured that the bandits responded positively in regards to release of Kagara school students and staffs.
