According to reports reaching Oyogist.com, Ex. Minister for finance in Nigeria, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been named Forbes Africa Person Of The Year 2020.
Okonjo-Iweala, is currently the Nigerian candidate for the position of DG at World Trade Organisation. She has accomplished so many extraordinary tasks no one could ever imagine. Iweala joins a list of eminent Africans to have received the award.

While Reacting to the latest development, Okonjo-Iweala, thanked Forbes for the recognition and further dedicated the award to Africans who are currently facing severe health and socio-economic challenges caused by the novel coronavirus.
She said;
“It is a great honour to serve Africa in different capacities. I look forward to deploying my energies at the WTO for Africa and the world,” she said.
