According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Senator representing Adamawa North, Sen. Elisha Ishaku Abbo has reportedly defected from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Provressive Congress (APC).
Senator Elisha Abbo’s defection letter was tendered to the Senate President of the Nigerian 9th Senate, Sen. Ahmed Lawan who then read out the content of the defection letter during the House plenary seating on Wednesday.
Senator Abbo stated that he’s defecting from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressive Congress (APC) due to the mismanagement of the party as well as the polarization of the Party and interests.
“Thus, in living up to the expectation of the good people of Adamawa North Senatorial District, I hereby defect from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) with effect from today being Wednesday, the 25th day of November 2020,” Senator Abbo’s letter states.
It should be noted that Senator was sometimes in the news for assaulting a lady in an Abuja sex toy shop.
