The Defense Headquarters says the soldiers of Operation Whirl Stroke have struck some distinguished criminals’ camps in parts of Benue and Nasarawa States killing one and capturing four on Sunday.
The Coordinator, Defense Media Operations, Maj.- Gen. John Enenche revealed this in an announcement on Monday in Abuja.
Enenche said the tasks were led by troops sent at Guma in Benue and Keana in Nasarawa State.
He said that a sunrise assault on scoundrels’ camp at Guma timberland along the Benue-Nasarawa outskirt prompted the murdering of one criminal, including that others fled the region with shot injuries.
As indicated by him, troops additionally recuperated one AK-47 rifle, one AK-47 magazine, one privately made gun and three cell phones from the scene while the camp was therefore decimated.
