WAEC: How Exams Will Be Conducted – FG

The federal government on Monday have disclosed that the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) will begin next month. It said WASSCE subjects common to all English speaking countries of West Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, and Liberia) will start on August 17, oyogist.com reports.

The exam subjects composed distinctly by up-and-comers in Nigeria (Yoruba, Ibo, Hausa) will be taken from September 5 through September 14, 2020. The Minister of State for Education made this known on Monday at the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 gathering.

Emeka Nwajiuba said all the state Commissioners and governors had concurred that all schools will open in Nigeria from August 3. This is to set up the students for the WASSCE.
