According to report reaching OYOGist.com, former Real Madrid player and captain Iker Casillas, have return to the club as an adviser to the club president Florentino Perez. After five years apart from Madrid, the former goalkeeper is ready to quit his position at Porto and take on a more challenging position off the pitch with Madrid.
Real Madrid stated that Casillas and Florentino Perez, would work together with Casillas being an adviser to the club’s President in a position that is yet to be announced.
On the 1st of May 2019 the 39 years old goalkeeper suffered a heart attack while training with his team mates in Porto, although he is currently retired Casillas would wait until August 1st before making an official statement with regards to his departure.
Iker Casillas who played a total of (725) games while still in Madrid before moving to Porto has been outstanding at the club, winning a total of three trophies with them and would be an important addition to the team.
