OYOGist.com has learned that the Director General of the New Media Directorate of the Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ambrose Nwaogwugwu has stated that the party in the state accepts the resignation on Thursday of its State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Damian Oparah.
Oparah in a letter addressed to the Chairmen of the party in his ward and LGA made known his decision to step aside from the position with immediate effect.
Reacting to his resignation, Nwaogwugwu in a statement published on his Facebook timeline alleged that the former Publicity Secretary was a mole. He said Damian’s soul had left the party long ago.

He said, “the resignation was received in the state secretariat with a wild jubilation and celebration as one of the moles in the party threw up the towel as the party is repositioning itself with formidable hands to steer the affairs of the party.
“After the Supreme Court Imposition on the state, fair weather politicians like the erstwhile publicity Secretary have never hidden their penchants to follow the dictates of their stomachs and the party is very happy to purge itself of such characters.
“For those of you calling it breaking News; it is an open secret that Hon. Damian Oparah’s soul has left for the ruling a long time ago and it is so relieving that he made it official today.”
