A shop assistant in Ghana has reportedly landed in legal trouble after allegedly liquidating nearly the entire stock of his employer’s store and gifting all the cash to his girlfriend.
According to major sources, the employee took advantage of his employer’s absence, selling off the merchandise while left in charge of the business.
The situation was uncovered when the business owner returned to find the store’s shelves almost completely cleared, with absolutely no sales revenue left behind to account for the missing inventory.
