JUST IN: US And Iran Sign Peace Deal Admist Military Friction

A potential end to the three-month military conflict between the United States and Iran has emerged.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that a preliminary peace agreement, titled the “Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU),” is nearing completion and could be finalized in Europe over the weekend.

While Pakistani intermediaries have confirmed that a finalized joint text exists, the situation on the ground remains deeply unstable.

The diplomatic push is happening alongside active hostile engagements, conflicting state narratives, and lingering security threats near critical trade routes.

Additional friction occurred following a drone strike attributed to Iranian-aligned forces on Indian cargo ships departing the Persian Gulf.

Because of this ongoing violence, deep-seated mutual suspicion, and unresolved cross-border fighting in nearby Lebanon, diplomatic sources emphasize that the peace process remains highly fragile, with a substantial risk of collapsing before any official signing ceremony occurs.
