Not less than four people were killed after a four storey building collapsed in Sicily, Italy, oyogist.com reports.
The local unit of Italy’s civil protection service confirmed on its Twitter feed that the death toll currently stood at four.
Members of a rescue team were seen carrying several victims in a stretcher at the scene where the four-storey building collapsed.
The explosion was likely caused by a gas leak, said authorities, who have opened an investigation.
