Oyogist has learned that the Queen of England, Queen Queen Elizabeth lost a whopping sum of £10m (approx. N4,922,813,684) after shutting down Buckingham palace due to covid-19 restrictions.
Meanwhile, the palace property maintenance bill increased from £38.4million to £49.5 million as part of its planned upgrade of the Queen’s official residence.
A £2.4million contribution from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle saved the palace from having to use up all its savings.
