Oyogist.com has learned that the Eko Electricity Distribution Company of Nigeria (EEDC) has alerted it’s customers of a national power grid collapse.
Eko Electricity Distribution Company Plc(EKEDP), while informing its customers wrote;
“Dear customer, there is a partial system collapse on the national grid. Our TCN partners are working to restore supply immediately. Please bear with us,” it said in a note to customers.

eanwhile as of the time of filing this report, there has been no word yet from the Transmission Company of Nigeria(TCN), the main owners of the grid.
