Oyogist.com has learnt that the Confederation of African Football has Suspended the 2021 U – 17 African Cup Of Nations scheduled to begin on Friday in Rabat, Morocco.
Sources say the tournament was cancelled due to the closure of the Moroccan airspace until March 21, following specific COVID- 19 restrictions.
Meanwhile,only 5 countries have arrived Morocco for the tournament .
The countries include Senegal, Ivory Coast, Uganda , Tanzania, Zambia.
Nigerian Golden Eaglets were billed to depart the country for Morocco today, 9th March 2021.
