According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Ondo state Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has reportedly declared his administration’s readiness in returning primary and secondary schools taken over by the state government to their original owners.

The Governor made it known that the missionary schools which are currently under the state government’s control would be returned back to the missionary owners.

The governor made this known while addressing workers at the state secretariat, Akure, where he stated that the return of schools would be followed by stipulated conditions by the state government.

“Once the hurdles listed by the government are cleared by the mission owners, we shall gladly hand them back to them (missionaries),” Governor Akeredolu said.

He has further directed the religious organisations interested in taking back their schools from the government, to approach the state Ministry of Justice for necessary informations.
