According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Nigerian Federal Government has reportedly imposed a six (6) months travel ban on 100 persons due to non-compliance to the laid down Covid-19 protocol.

This was made known in an information made available by the Office of the Secretary of the Government of the Federation’s website, and was signed by the Chairman, Task Force on Covid-19, Mr. Boss Mustapha.

According to the release, the affected persons have been notified and will not be allowed to travel with the listed passports during this period.

It should be recalled that as part of the Covid-19 protocol, the federal government had made it compulsory for travelers to undergo a mandatory Day 7 post arrival Covid-19 test.

However, it appears that the affected persons refused to comply with the federal government’s regulation, hence the ban was placed.
